Ultimate Effects of Bad Breath in the gum disease

Bad breath is a condition of gum disease in which the patient’s mouth gives bad smell. There are many reasons behind bad breathing like, use of tobacco, alcoholic use, poor oral care, and sometimes any medical condition like, any malfunctioning in stomach or respiratory infection.
Treatment of medically originated bad breath:
If the bad breath is due to any medical abnormality then checkup with a medical physician is recommended so that he/she may diagnose the actual reason to stop this condition.
Treatment of bad breath due to alcoholic use:
If this condition occurs due to use of either spit tobacco, cigarettes, or alcoholic products, then give up the use of such health hazards materials an start drinking fresh water in a higher concentration. That keeps the stomach, kidneys and mouth clean and fresh, preventing the bacteria to accumulate and gives fresh sensation to the mouth.
Treatment of Bad breath formed due to poor oral care:
If the reason is poor oral care then the following best solutions are recommended to quit the bad breath:
• First of all change the brushing routine by doing more brushing along with gargles of warm water.
• Take more Tea, that acts as an antiseptic (bacterial killer), and kills the dangerous oral bacteria from developing the bad smell in the mouth.
• Use of pineapple juice is also one of the best choices for getting rid of bad breathing temporarily.
• Use of sugar must be avoided, in food and drink items, those results in the formation of teeth cavities and ultimately results in the development of bad breath.
• Use Probiotic Yogurt (yogurt consists of healthy or nutritious bacteria), that slowly reduces the population of dangerous bacteria. Daily consumption of this yogurt checks the population of these harmful bacteria and stops them by killing their larva.
• Preventing constipation, by taking regular exercise and fiber rich food, that makes the bowl moment normal and avoid the bad breath caused by constipation.
• Rinsing mouth with salt that kills the oral; bacteria and heel any wound caused due to gum disease.
• Use the baking soda rich toothpaste, or do gargles with baking soda water, that prevents the growth of bad smell producing bacteria over the surface of tongue.
• Chewing of sunflower or mint leaves, after taking meal will clean the mouth and spreads a fresh air inside the mouth.
Finally it is concluded to use any of the household remedies for avoiding bad breath that leads to the development of a silent disease called periodontitis, which sometimes badly damage the overall facial shape, depriving a many lives from a healthy smile. Gum disease can be treated by using an amazing product Nature’s Smile™ gum balm. To Stop gum disease you just need to brush twice a day with Nature’s Smile™ gum balm. You will see amazing results in your oral health.

Fats and Diabetes

If you have rudimentary understanding of fats, you've probably picked up the standard take on the subject. That is, saturated fat is bad and mono and polyunsaturated fats are good. That popular oversimplification is very misleading. For one thing, all naturally occurring fats are actually mixtures of different kinds of fatty acids. The fat found in beef, for instance, contains a mixture of saturated and mono unsaturated fats, in fact, there's actually more unsaturated fat (whether from monos or polys) in beef than saturated. Beef fat is solid at room temperature, however, so it's misleadingly lumped into the saturated fat category.
The dietary advice comes down especially hard on saturated fats. That's because a diet high in saturated fats and cholesterol from animal foods is often linked with heart disease. But that link is tenuous at best. The much-touted connection between saturated fat and cholesterol in the diet and high cholesterol levels and heart disease is a lot less solid than you might think. Respected science writer Gary Taubes pointed this out in a watershed article published in the New york Times Magazine in July 2002,
entitled "What If It's All Been a Big Fat Lie?' One significant problem with most studies that claim saturated fats raises cholesterol levels is that they don't take into account carbohydrate consumption. Saturated fat can indeed raise blood cholesterol when it's eaten in the content of a high-carb diet. To date, in studies, saturated fat had little impact on cholesterol levels.
In these same studies, dietary fat had little or no effect on raising blood lipids. You should eat a balance of fats, fortunately, Mothers nature makes that easy for you. You may not know, for example, that in 3.5 ounce pork chop containing 22grams of fat, only 8 grams are saturated. Another 10 grams are monounsaturated fat and the rest are polyunsaturated fat. You don't have to worry about achieving a good balance fats if you simply eat a variety of protein foods and also consume olive oil, olives, avocados, and nuts.
If you've been diagnosed with the metabolic syndrome, prediabetes, or diabetes, your lipid levels and insulin/blood sugar levels aren't what they should be. But avoiding foods containing cholesterol and saturated fat isn't the answer, in fact, avoiding protein rich, fat rich foods in favor of carbohydrates could well make your health problems worse. What will help get your blood sugar under control and improve your blood lipids is balancing dietary fats.

THE PROS AND CONS OF USING STARCH-BLOCKING BEANS (ACARBOSE)

A extract from white kidney beans is now widely sold as an over-the-counter "starch blocker". These heavily advertised products claim to neutralize the starch in high-carbohydrate foods. All you have to do, the ads claim, is take a couple of these pills at the start of meal, and they'll block your absorption of about 75 percent of the calories you eat from carbohydrates. Starch-blocking products do contain a substance found naturally in white kidney beans ( as well as some other beans and also wheat) that inhibits or blocks amylase, the enzyme your body uses to break down carbohydrates in your intestinal tract. In fact, the starch-blocker supplements work in a similar way to the prescription drug acarbose (Precose or Glyset).
Both the supplements and the prescription drugs have serious drawbacks. They're not meant to aid weight loss- they're designed to help control blood sugar, but that doesn't stop unscrupulous manufacturers from pushing the supplements as a way to lose weight while eating all you want of anything you want. No studies of acarbose have shown that some people with impaired glucose tolerance are less likely to become diabetic if they take the drug. The side effects of blocking carbohydrate digestion can be very unpleasant. Severe cramps, diarrhea, and gas are likely. Many people using acarbose experience flatulence. Many doctors do not prescribe acarbose. Why take a costly drug with nasty side effects when you can benefit your health considerably more by controlling the carbohydrate in your diet.

PROTECTING THE HEART AGAINST HEART ATTACK

Protecting the heart against heart attackHeart disease and diabetes are a deadly duo. In fact, if you have diabetes, your risk of having a first heart attack is about as high as the risk of someone without diabetes who's already had a heart attack. In other words, the moment you officially become a diabetes patient, you are automatically at risk for heart disease, even if you've never had any heart problems. During the decades in which you gradually developed diabetes, your blood vessels were suffering the kind of damage that often leads to a heart attack.
Because you can control what goes in your mouth, you have a unique opportunity right now to choose the alternative path to better health. Heart disease and diabetes aren't inevitable, there is plenty you can do to minimize your risk. In addition to getting your blood sugar and blood pressure under control, you also need to look at your blood lipids, the cholesterol and fats in your blood. And instead of relying on the standard pharmaceutical approach of cholesterol lowering drugs to manage high blood lipids
The classic

symptoms of a heart attack

include a crushing sensation in the chest, chest pain (angina), pain radiating into the left arm or up into the chest jaw, and shortness of breath. However, it's important to realize that women and people with diabetes may not experience these symptoms. For them, symptoms are more likely to include nausea and vomiting, tiredness, sweating, and collapse. Doctors call these silent heart attacks. They are actually more dangerous than the more obvious sort, because life-saving, heart-preserving intervention may be delayed or never even administered.
The message: Don't wait until you're facing a crisis. If you have the metabolic syndrome, prediabetes, or diabetes, discuss with your physician a course of action should you experience any of these symptoms.
Heart attacks are not the only problem. Obesity alone can overwork your heart to the point where its ability to pump blood efficiently is severely compromised. This problem, heart failure, can also be caused by hypertension and the leftover scarring caused by a heart attack. Among people with heart failure, 20 to 40 have percent diabetes.

HOW TO PROTECT THE EYES FROM BLINDNESS

The eye is a wonderful organ it makes a picture of everything it sees, and the nerves from the eye tells the brain about these pictures. The eyes are very easily injured, and for this reason they are well protected by their location in two cavities in the front of the skull, and by the eyelids, eyelashes and eyebrows.

In order to protect the eyes from injury and disease, it is necessary to give heed to the following:

1. Never read or do any close work such as embroidery in a poor lighted place.
2. When reading, do not read facing the light directly; it is better to sit so that the light will shine on the book from behind, over the shoulder.
3. Do not read under the sun
4. When doing any work that requires close attention, it is well to rest the eyes occasionally, either by closing them for a few seconds, or else by looking out of the window at the distant sky, or the green trees, or the grass for a few minutes.
5. Avoid using towels, soap, wash pans or face cloths that are being used by other people in public places. Those who have used these articles may had "sore eyes," and by using them you may contract some eye disease.
6. When making use of your PC reduce the brightness of the monitor or where a black eye glass to protect the eye from the direct rays of the light.
7. When a particle of dust or any foreign object gets into the eye, do not rub the eye, but remove the substance by washing with normal saline. If there is no normal saline at hand, clean boiled water may be used.
8. Smoke is very injurious to the eyes. If the stove where the food is being prepared is not fitted with a flue, the house becomes filled with irritating smoke. When this is repeated three times a day, day after day, it injures the eyes of every member of the family. At a very small cost flues can be built that will conduct the smoke out of the room and prevent this discomfort and injury.
9. The schoolroom where the children study should be well lighted. The children should be provided with seats low enough so that their feet will rest on the floor; and the desk or table should be low, so that when the book is lying on the table and the child is sitting erect, the print will be a foot from the eyes.
The child should be provided with study books that have large and clear fonts. After a child has had measles, scarlet fever or smallpox, he should not be allowed to go to school till fully recovered, because these diseases weaken the eyes as well as the rest of the body.

THE SECRET OF LONG LIFE

An ancient sage said, " man does not die : he kills himself". This is true in the case of most people. While it is true that all must die sometime, yet very few live out the natural term of life.
The records of every community contain the names of men who lived to a great age; some of them lived to be over a hundred years old. But it is found in the case of most of these centenarians that they began to care for their health early in life.
Most men and women while young have good health and are strong physically. When warned against doing things that injure the health, they scoff and say, "I am young and strong; it will not hurt me to do this." The God who rules the universe has fixed a law that governs the actions of every man and woman. "Whatsoever a man soweth," He declares, "that shall he also reap." If a man sows wheat, he will get a harvest of wheat. Every young person who forms bad habits of living is sowing the seeds of disease in his body, and it is an absolute certainty that sooner or later will reap ill-health. It is known that sexual excesses and the diseases resulting from dissipation shorten life. Also note that the use of such habit forming drugs as alcohol and tobacco sows the seeds of ill-health and likewise shortens life.
Many who read this article would ask, since i have neglected to carefully guard my heath during the past years, is there any hope that I may have long life? This will depend on how seriously the body has been injured by your carelessness. But there is no one who cannot greatly lengthen the years of his life if he will at once leave off all those habits that injure the health and begin to practise those things that are friendly to our body. There are many instances of men, forty or more years old with diseased bodies, who have reformed their habits and lived to the age of 75 or 80yrs.
Your health matters!

HOW TO USE WATER IN CURING DISEASE

It is the blood that heals. It maintains the heat of the body, destroys disease germs, and repairs diseased or injured portions of the body. This being the case, the aim in seeking to cure any part of the body that is diseased should be to secure an active circulation of the blood through that part. The circulation of the blood in any part of the body can be controlled by the use of hot and cold water.

By means of alternate hot and cold applications of water, the circulation of the blood in any part of the body can be markedly increased. The hot application, which should continue about three minutes, causes the blood-vessels to dilate or enlarge in the part of the body where the heat has been applied. As soon as the blood- vessels dilate, the blood rushes in from other parts of the body to fill them. If cold is then applied for one minute the dilated blood-vessels in other parts of the body. Repeating there alternations of hot and cold constitutes a veritable pumping process, which greatly increases the amount of blood flowing through the diseased part.
HOT FOOT-BATH
For a hot foot-bath a large pail, a wash-bowl, or even a tub may be used. In foot-bath the water should reach above the ankles, and to start with the temperature should be about 105F. The feet are quite sensitive to heat. Soon after the feet are placed in the warm water, the temperature should gradually be increased to a point as hot as can be borne,
This is done by adding hot water a little at a time. The bath should continue from five to twenty minutes. In giving a hot foot-bath, a cloth wrung out of cold water should always first be placed on the patient's forehead, and this cloth should be frequently re-cooled. This cloth prevents dizziness and headache.
If prolonged to fifteen or twenty minutes the hot foot-bath is a very effective means of producing perspiration. If such an effect is desired, surround the patient with blankets and have him drink hot water or lime juice during the time his feet are kept in the hot water. Keep the head cool. Then the patient should lay on a bed and cover himself with a blanket to continue sweating
The hot foot-bath is excellent for relieving headache. It is also useful for treating inflammations of the pelvic organs; overcoming chilly sensations; producing perspiration; and relieving sore, aching or cold feet.
One or two tablespoonfuls of ground mustard, added to the water, will intensify the effect of the bath.
THE COLD COMPRESS
In the case of an early sore throat, a tickle or laryngitis (infection of the vocal cords causing a loss of the voice) there is nothing so useful as the cold compress, or, as it is also known, the heating compress.
The compress is made by taking a piece of cotton cloth, long enough to go round the neck and wide enough to make three thicknesses about one to one and one-half inches wide.
The cloth is soaked in cold tap water and wrung as dry as possible. It is put around the patient's neck, cold and wrung as dry as possible. It is put around the patient's neck, cold and wet. It is then covered with another piece of warm, soft, dry flannel.
This dry cloth should be more than twice as wide as the former so that none of the wet cloth will be exposed. This is pinned firmly in place with two pins and left on all might. It can be renewed night and morning. In some cases there are debilitated patients who cannot tolerate the wet cloth so it should be left off and only the dry one applied. This is also the practice with small children.

It will be unfair if you don't share this article with your friends.

BAD HABITS THAT INJURE THE RESPIRATORY ORGANS.

There are little things that we neglect that matters a lot to our health. We will discuss some of these things, basically , as it affects the respiratory organ in details.
BAD POSTURE:
It is important that we sit and stand erect

in order that the lungs may have plenty of room to expand each time the breath is drawn. To stand or sit with a hunched back not only spoils one's appearance but also makes it impossible for the lungs to expand fully. As a result, the body does not secure a sufficient supply of air, which in time impairs health and renders the body susceptible to diseases like cold and tuberculosis.
People who work indoors, especially those whose work requires them to sit down while they work, should make it a practice to stand erect several times a day and take several deep breaths in order to fill all the air sacs with fresh air, thus keeping themselves in good condition
INCORRECT BREATHING: The nose is the natural entrance for the air. The nose is lined with numerous small hairs that help to strain out dust and germs that are in the air we breathe. As the air passes through the nose, it is also warmed and moistened. On the other hand, when we breathe through the mouth, the air is not warmed and moistened before it enters the pharynx. This makes the pharynx dry and causes it to produce much mucus. This leads to coughing and colds. A child who breathes through the mouth should be taken to a physician in order that the physician may examine the nose and throat and remove any adenoids that may be found.
ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO: Tobacco smoke injures every part of the respiratory organs. It inflanes the lining membrane of the nose, throat, trachea, and lungs. It produces coughing. It so injures the lining of the lungs that lung cancer and other diseases are more likely to be contracted.
Believe it or not, all kinds of alcohol also injure.the body. When a man drinks alcohol it can be smelled on his breath in just a short time after it has been drunk. This is due to the fact that as soon as the alcohol has entered the blood and has been carried to the lungs, the lungs try to get rid of the poison as quickly as possible. It is well established that drinking of alcohol renders one less able to overcome infections of the lungs.
IN SUMMARY:
1. Fill the lungs full of air each time you inspire. To do this, you must sit and stand erect
2. Avoid breathing dusty air.
3. Do not use tobacco in any form.
4. Do not drink any kind of alcohol.
5. Always breathe through the nose.
6. Do not wear a tight belt about the waist.
7. Practice deep breathing several times daily.
8. Avoid breathing stale air under the bed covers.
9. See to it that your house is well ventilated.
10. In daytime be out in the fresh air as much as possible, and at night open the bedroom windows wide to allow fresh air to enter freely provided the window is protected with a mosquito treated net.
