REMEDIES FOR NOSE-BLEED

Nose-bleed is a common condition known medically as epistaxis, a number of different factors can cause bleeding from the nose.
Frequently, nose bleeds occur because of minor irritation or injury of the small veins in the septum. These veins may rupture spontaneously, or may be caused by a sneeze or a cough that raises the blood pressure inside the veins of the nose.
In ninety five percent of all cases of nose-bleed the trouble originates with the septum just inside the nostrils.
TREATMENT
The bleeding therefore can be stopped in most cases if pressure is applied to the nostrils for about 15 mins. Failing in this, pack the nose with a piece of cotton and saturate it with nose drops. The nose drops causes the vessels to shrink and help to stop the bleeding.
