THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER TO OUR HEALTH

Water is one of the most common substances in the world. It is also one of the cheapest things in the world. No plant or animal can live without water. Two-thirds of the weight of our bodies are made up of water. It is not only good for your body but it is good for your brain too.
When a man cannot secure daily a sufficient amount of water in his food and drink, he quickly loses his strength. It has been shown that it is necessary to drink an abundance of water in order to help the skin and kidneys in eliminating from the body the poisons and waste products that are being constantly produced. Drinking plenty of water cleanses the body internally just as bathing cleanses the body externally.

Water is essential to life and healthy living. Water is vital for powering your body functions, keeping your mental health and assuring an all-round healthy well-being.
An adult should drink at least eight glasses of water daily. All drinking water should be boiled before being used. Water for drinking should not be ice cold. It is especially important that those who have fever should drink water in large quantities. In cases of upset stomach, with spitting up of sour fluid, drinking hot water may bring relief.
Given that the brain is about 80 percent water, the first rule of brain nutrition is adequate water to hydrate your brain. Even slight dehydration can raise stress hormones which can damage your brain over time. It is best to have your liquids unpolluted with artificial sweeteners, sugar, caffeine, or alcohol.
Every infant should be given a small amount of water(that has been boiled) to drink several times a day. Oftentimes when a baby cries it is simply because of water and not for something to eat. Drink a glass of water in the morning before breakfast as it helps to wash the intenstine.
Water is crucial to our health. Every system in our body depends on water.
